Hamburg Germany

Disappointing photos, but a gorgeous city!

We had a wet day in Hamburg. It didn't dampen the beauty of the city though, just made for blurry pictures taken through a wet tour bus window.
First, we toured through the city and over many bridges added when the city was redesigned after the second world war.

We went to the site of the former concentration camp in Hamburg. There was a small section about the Jehovah's Witnesses housed there, it was all in German so I took pix and will try to figure a way to translate it.

Hamburg is very green and lush with buildings built in the 1600's next modern designs.
We didn't have any time to shop, so no souvenirs from Germany.  :(
... on to Amsterdam, I'm so excited for tomorrow!

As we sailed along the Elbe River on our way back to the sea, we were able to see beautiful houses along the way.
